The National Cricket League (NCL) has been postponed due to an increase in corona infections across the country. There is no certainty about when this tournament will be held on the field.

However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said that if the situation improves, the domestic event could resume on the field.

Talking to the media, he said, "We know that, we finished two rounds of NCL and then we took a gap before the third round. If everything is conducive to manage, then we can resume the NCL.”

The National Cricket League started on March 22. After the end of the second round, the event was postponed. At the end of two rounds, Dhaka Division is at the top with 13.44 points in the first Tier. In the second Tier, Dhaka Metro is at the top with 12.18 points.

Domestic cricketers have suffered the most due to the suspension of the National Cricket League. Because this is the main source of their livelihood.
