Bangladesh- New Zealand Series
Mushfiq to miss the first T20I due to injury

|| CF DESK ||
Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is unlikely to feature in the 1st T20 against New Zealand on Sunday due to a shoulder injury. According to a source, he will miss the match because he is suffering from finger and old shoulder injuries. However, it could not be confirmed whether Mushfiqur will be able to play in the remaining two T20s.
Mushfiqur was already suffering from a shoulder injury. This time a finger injury has also been added. In the last ODI, a ball bowled by Taskin Ahmed hit the edge of Henry Nichols' bat and touched Mushfiqur's finger.
Mahmudullah is the only senior cricketer in this match as Mushfiqur is not available. Because the ODI captain Tamim Iqbal is returning to the country due to family reasons and Shakib Al Hasan was not in the New Zealand series either.

The visitors have already lost the ODI series 3-0.
