Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) team new selector Abdur Razzak said that if the board allows Mustafizur Rahman to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), they will announce the squad against Sri Lanka without him.

While speaking to the media he said, “This is the decision of the board whether Mustafiz will play in the IPL or not. If the board decides that Mustafiz will play in the IPL, then he will go. We still have a certain number of players on the team. All the meetings will be held and will be done in a systematic way,” said Razzak
“If everything goes well, the team will be announced. And Mustafiz is not out of this. The power is in the hands of the cricket board. If Mustafiz is allowed to play in IPL then we will consider the team without him” he added.
Earlier, all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan was given a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from BCB to play for Kolkata Knight Riders and left for India today [Saturday], IPL is slated to begin on April 9. However, Mustafizur told earlier the media that he would not participate in the IPL if he’s included in the squad.
