Liton-Mushfiq guide Najmul XI to a 9-wicket victory against Tamim XI

Liton Kumar Das, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s half centuries led the Najmul XI won the first practice match by 9 wickets against Tamim XI in New Zealand on Tuesday.
Chasing the target of 234 runs, Najmul XI batted well from the very beginning. Mushfiqur unbeaten 54 and Mohammad Saifuddin's unbeaten 16 runs claimed the victory with 19 balls in hand.
Liton-Mehidy retired to the dressing room after completing half-centuries. Liton, the wicketkeeper batsman, has scored 59 runs, while Miraz scored 50 runs. Captain Najmul also retired after scoring 40.

Earlier, Tamim XI could not make a good start by batting first. However, Mithun's unbeaten 66 runs and a local New Zealand batsman Benazir's unbeaten 46 helped Tamim XI to gather 233 runs at the end of the innings.
Mahmudullah Riyad scored 35, while Sheikh Mahedi Hasan got out for 38 runs. Soumya Sarkar started well but could not make the innings big as he returned with 28 runs. Naim Sheikh could not shine as well, the left-handed batsman scored 12 runs.
Fast bowler Rubel Hossain bagged 4 wickets for 42 runs from the Najmul XI. Besides, Mohammad Saifuddin took a wicket.
