The National Cricket League (NCL) may start from March 22 but Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu has also hinted that the date might delay by a day or two for players’ vaccination program.
Meanwhile, BCB officials sat down for talks with the teams of 8 divisions. Each team has already finalized a team of 18 players. The chief selector of the BCB also said that the teams will start practicing as soon as the schedule is finalized.

"We always sit down with the captains and coaches to build the teams, that's why we sat down. We sat down with 8 divisions and formed a team of 18 players. A date of 22 is given (starting possible date). Now it depends on when the vaccine is taken. We have put our work onward. I have almost prepared the teams so that they can start practicing” said Nannu on Thursday.
In red ball cricket, Bangladesh has not yet established itself as a respectable team. As a result, the long version of domestic cricket is very important for Bangladeshi cricketers. Nannu said that they want to bring out the best cricket with all kinds of facilities for the cricketers.
“Of course long-range cricket is important. Because the foundation of cricket depends on it. The better we play competitive cricket here, the better we will do in Test cricket. Of course we are keeping an eye with all kinds of facilities, we can bring out the best cricket” he added.
