Gazi Group Chattogram joined Gemcon Khulna in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup final as they defeated Beximco Dhaka by seven wickets in the second qualifier at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Liton Kumar Das scored highest 40 while Mohammad Mithun scored 34 as Chattogram reached 117- 3 in 19.1 overs to win the game and earn a place in the final.

Pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman scripted the downfall of their opponent through his lethal bowling, grabbing 3-32.

Left-arm pace bowler Shoriful Islam grabbed two wickets to compliment his senior bowling partner Mustafizur.

Dhaka batting looked out of sort in the all important match as they failed to build partnership that was required to post a healthy total on the board.
The plot of sending make shift opener Sabbir Rahman and night watchman Muktar Ali hardly proved dividend for the capital side as they failed to give the fire power that was required in the power play.
Both the openers were sent in the dressing room by 19 runs while they managed only 33 runs in the power play.
All the responsibility to guide the team was on the shoulder of Mushfiqur Rahim but he failed to deliver when it matters making only 25 runs and got out just when he was expected to accelerate the run rate.
Al Amin jnr scored 25 runs while Yasir Ali added 24 but that was hardly enough to put up a challenging total on the board.
Chattogram also complicated their chase as they batted in slow and cumbersome manner but it hardly pressed the panic button in the dressing as they had wickets in hand.
Mustafizur, who is the leading wicket taker in the tournament with 21, was adjudged man of the match for the third time in the tournament
