Beximco Dhaka will be eyeing to gun down highly spirited Fortune Barishal in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup eliminator to keep their hope alive in the competition.
In the other match of the day Gemcon Khulna and Gazi Group Chattogram will lock horns in the qualifier to final while the loser in the match will take on winner of the eliminator on November 15.
Barisal will be looking forward to get a positive result regarding their skipper Tamim Iqbal as his participation in the eliminator is subject to covid-19 clearance as he was sent to isolation following he was feeling cold after batting against Dhaka in their last match on November12.

Acting skipper Mehedy Hasan kept his nerve during the two-run win over Dhaka that helped them earn a spot in the play off and according to him they are taking confidence from that game.
‘’We are well prepared and as we have won the last game we will take the confidence going into the game,’’ said Mehedy.
‘’We played extremely well in the last game and as a result we came out as winner. It’s a do-or-die match and if we can win it we are expecting to play in the semi-final,’’ he said.
Dhaka coach Khaled Mahmud insisted that they are disappointed not to play in the qualifier but added that he is happy the way his charges made a comeback more so after successive losses in their initial phase.
‘’Of course we are disappointed. We could have played the qualifier matches if we could have scored two more runs. But then again you will have to win matches anyways and then go towards the championship. At this point it is that we will have to play one match extra for game,’’ said Mahmud, who spent a busy time with his bowlers while his opponent opted to rest in the hotel.
‘’Definitely we are confident. We just need to minimize the mistakes which we made in last game. We believe we are a better side. We lost the first three games but have come back strongly after that. So there is no problem for the team with confidence. We made mistakes in bowling and fielding in our last game which we would like to rectify and look forward to the next game,’’ he said.
