Bangladesh former national opener Anamul Haque had a double blow as he injured him in the nets following his altercation with team management during the practice session of the Gemcon Khulna at that Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium academy premises on Saturday.
According to team insiders Anamul was disturbed with the team management after being dropped in the last match against Beximco Dhaka on November 10.
Khulna made two changes during their last game as they replaced pace bowler Al Amin Hossain and batsman Imrul Kayes by bringing in pacer Sohidul Islam and left-arm spinner Nazmul Apu.
It was learnt Anamul was expecting a place in the XI after Gemcon decided to rest Imrul but he got frustrated as things did not turned out as he per his expectation.
Anamul displeasure was clearly exposed since he arrived in the BCB Academy premises with the teams to take part in the practice session.
After he was called for several times by head coach Mizanur Rahman to bat in the net he responded but the way he had thrown away his kits after opening the bag was a clear indication that he did not wanted to go into the nets.
The right-handed opener went straight to Mizanur and started reacting with him in such a manner that team manager Nafees Iqbal had to intervene to fix thing between the duo.
Cameraman, who was available at the practice session, did not miss the opportunity to grab the moment and according to the pictures available to some of them he was found out that he was crying.
The tears were found out when he was when he was trying to rub it off through the grill of the helmet
