Khulna Tigers Pakistani pace bowler Mohammad Amir said that bowling in the right areas proved dividend for him against Rajshahi Royals in the first qualifier to the final in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.
Mohammad Amir came up with an intriguing display of fast bowling to script a new BPL bowling record and in doing so propelled Khulna Tigers to the final of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) at first attempt.

Alongside him, opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto also dazzled in impeccable way to crush Rajshahi Royals by 27 runs in the first Qualifier at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Shanto struck 57 ball-78 not out before Amir gave a talismanic impetus with ruthless bowling that saw him claimed his career and BPL best 6-17 in four overs.
‘’I think when you bowl under lights you have to look for swing and I was bowling in the right areas,’’ Amir told reporters after the heroic act against Royals.
‘’I know both of their openers were in good touch and so I thought if I get both of them we had a good chance to win,’’ he said adding that batsmen give them a good total to defend in the qualifier.
‘’Credit goes to the batters as it was not easy for the batters. There was a little bit of movement for the bowlers. Credit goes to Shanto for the way he played .They gave us a decent total in the board to defend .credit goes to batsman,’’ he said.
