Rangpur Rangers Jahurul Islam said that added that they are learning a lot from their Australian skipper Shane Watson and it was a good experience to share the dressing room with the veteran campaigner.
Watson arrived from Australia to take part in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League for Rangers and looked to have played a big part behind regrouping them in the tournament.
Rangpur, who had a very bad start in the competition, returned back to business by winning three games from their last five outings to keep their hope alive in the tournament.
Rangpur need to win both their matches against Dhaka Platoon to have any realistic chance of going beyond the group stage though that will depend on lot of permutation and combination.

But according to Jahurul they are learning a lot from the seasoned campaigner in the dressing room about how he manages himself.
‘’Not the only captaincy we have learned a lot of things on and off the field from him. He has played over 360/370 matches and played in the highest level,’’ said Jahurul.
‘’It is not only his captaincy but you can learn a lot from his small tips and the talks he have during the team meeting and it helped us a lot,’’ he said.
Watson did not score any runs in last for matches but there was no change in his body language.
We can learn lot of things from his body language because they have been a great players for these qualities and abilities,’’ he said adding that young left-handed opener Mohammad Naim can learn a lot from Watson regarding how to prepare.
‘’Our Naim has played very well and played consistently and he has the potential to be great player,’’ he said.
‘’He[ Naim] can take lot of good things from him[ Watson] and I hope he had a career like him,’’ he concluded.
