Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal said that he is well aware that time is running short for him to pull up the sock as he failed to deliver in the just concluded World Cup mission.
Tamim added that he might go abroad for intense training.
He just scored 235 runs with one half-century to his name, averaging 29.37. That only half-century, a 62-run knock came against Australia who literally ended Tiger any hope of winning the match by piling up a huge 381 runs on the board.

‘’In 2015, there was a one and half months break before the Pakistan series. But now, time is short. The reality is, I will realize what to do or what not to do after getting back home,’’ Tamim was quoted in several Bengali newspapers.
‘’One or two alternatives are there. It may happen that I could go outside Bangladesh to train. I can also do that in Bangladesh, I may happen too. I haven’t decided yet. I haven’t seen my family for a long time. I wanna spend some time with them, then I will decide,’’ he said.
Tamim said he took too much pressure on himself.
‘’Yes, there was. It was the biggest reason. Mainly in the first three matches, I took too much pressure on myself. The thought that was going through my mind is that I don’t wanna go through the experience of the 2015 World Cup once again, I don’t want that to come back ever again. But my fear has turned into reality,’’ he said.
‘’Only, I know, what I have gone through in 2015. I have learned from there, this time social media trolls and criticism didn’t affect me that much. I think I have handled that well. The only thing I was afraid of is my family. I didn’t want my family to face any hassle. When these were going on in 2015, I didn’t handle that well. That didn’t happen this time around,’’ he said.
