The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the full schedule of this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). The screening of IPL will start from April 9 and the final will be held on May 30. Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan's team Kolkata Knight Riders will start their IPL journey on April 11 with the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Shakib has withdrawn his name from the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. As a result, Kolkata will get this all-rounder in the entire IPL.

Bangladesh cutter Mustafizur Rahman's IPL journey will start the next day [12th April]. Mustafiz, however, has not yet appealed an application to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). If he gets to play for the Test team, he won’t be able to play at the beginning of the IPL.

(BCCI) had earlier decided to host the entire tournament in six cities - Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Each team in IPL will play 14 matches in the group stage. There will be a total of 60 matches including play-offs and finals. The 10 matches of the group stage will be played in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore.

Ahmedabad and Delhi will host 8 matches of the group stage. All matches, including play-offs and finals, will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This time there is no home venue for any team. The first match of the day will start at 4 pm Bangladesh time and the second match will be played at 8 pm.
