Legends facing each other in Road Safety World Series

Legendary cricketers are going to play against each other in the 2020 Road Safety World Series. Watching the greats playing again is very amusing to the fans.

 In the opening match between Sachin Tendulkars India vs Brian Lara’s West Indies, the series has been started.

The World Series is an annual Twenty20 tournament played between retired cricketers from five countries - Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and India. 

In 2008, Tendulkar surpassed Lara’s record of most test runs where the West Indies left-hander batting legend made 11,953 in the longest format of the game before retiring from international cricket in 2007.

Lara still holds the record for the highest individual test score, his 400 unbeaten innings against England in Antigua in 2004 is still inspire batsmen all over the country.

India legends that is being led by Sachin will also feature players like batting greats Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh. Bowling unit also will feature Zaheer Khan and Irfan Pathan .

In the 11 matches in this tournament, India legend Tendulkar and West Indian Lara will be joined by former players including  Australian Brett Lee, Sri Lankan Tillakaratne Dilshan and South Africa’s Jonty Rhodes for the tournament from March 7-22 across India.
