Bangladesh recorded history during the one-off Test against Afghanistan by registering the largest margin win against the visitors at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
Bangladesh thrashed Afghanistan by 546 runs which is also the third-highest margin win over any team in the history of Test cricket and the biggest in the last 89 years in the format.

Taskin took three wickets in the first session of Day 4, one on the previous day, however, the spearhead was hapless as he was denied two chances to grab the fifth wicket which would have been his maiden fifer in Tests.
