Afghans continue domination over Bangladesh U-19 in four-day match

Bilal Sayedi’s ton lifted Afghanistan U-19 to 226 runs losing eight wickets at stumps on day 2 of the lone four-day match against Bangladesh U-19 at the Sylhet International Stadium.
Afghans resumed on 40-2, added 186 runs more to the total, which propelled the side to lead by 64 runs at the end of the second day.

The visitors got off to a poor start, following the wicket of Ijaz Ahmed, as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Then Bilal and Hotak rescued the side as the batters amassed a 140-run partnership for the seventh wicket.
Bilal who was unbeaten on 11 completed his hundred, faced 291 balls to score 101 runs with 12 fours and a six with Kamran Hotak played a knock of 66 runs.
Ashraful Islam picked up three wickets while Mushfik Hasan, Aich Mollah, and SM Meherob took one wicket each for Bangladesh.
Earlier, the host posted 162 runs on the first innings and will eye to bounce back on the third day of the game.
