“We had a good training session and are now familiar with the local conditions. The players are excited and focused for the series. Everyone understands how challenging Pakistan can be, especially at home,” Litton said in a statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Frontline fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman are nursing injuries while new pace sensation Nahid Rana withdrew from the tour over security fears following the cross-border conflict between India and Pakistan.
