BCB's door is always open for Shakib, says Mithu

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director and media committee chairman Iftekhar Rahman Mithu has reaffirmed that the national team remains open to welcoming Shakib Al Hasan back at any time, stating, “The door is always open for Shakib.”
His comments come amid Shakib’s ongoing participation in the Global T20 Super League (GSL), where the star all-rounder has had a mixed start.

"Shakib Al Hasan is the greatest cricketer of Bangladesh. There's no second choice here. The door is always open for him. It's up to the selectors and team management; they are thinking about it..." said Mithu to the media on Saturday.
Hinting at Shakib’s potential return, "I don’t know how things were handled in the past, but now the current president has given full authority to Cricket Operations, the team management, and the selectors. They are aware of the situation. It will be reviewed. They will definitely look into this matter."
