David Warner opens up about incident with De Kock

So, we finally have someone from the two parties speaking
about the incident that surrounded them during South Africa’s match against
Australia. David Warner has lifted the lid over what caused him to lose his
temper.
Apparently, De Kock’s words were regarding the family of
Warner and while the Aussie has regrets over his actions, he has claimed that
he will always defend his loved ones.
“The other day I was probably out of line. I've seen the
footage and I regret the way it played out but for me -- it is how I am and I
responded emotionally and regretted the way I played out," he told Australian
media.
"But I'll always stick up for my family.”

The Australian vice-captain stated that while he has had
received a lot of abuse from the fans in the stadiums he has played in, getting
a “vile and disgusting” comment from De Kock about his wife enraged him to no
limits.
"I cop it left, right and centre, especially off the
field from spectators. I am used to that and it doesn't bother me.
"But in the proximity of my personal space and behind
me, a comment that was vile and disgusting and about my wife and just in
general about a lady was quite poor, I felt."
In what feels like he is the law-maker regarding sledging,
he revealed that going against family in a verbal war is something that shouldn’t
be done.
He added: "When it comes to family or racism comments or anything like that, that's just a no-go zone."
