Miller stays to play BPL final for Fortune Barishal

Franchise appointment likely by September, players' draft in October, says BPL Chairman

At the end of the second qualifier yesterday, South African batter David Miller supposed to fly to his country after securing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Final spot. However, Miller is in the team hotel in Dhaka with Fortune Barishal.
Miller initially had a contract with Barisal for two matches. Before coming to BPL, he was busy with wedding arrangements, which will be held soon. He came to play in this tournament for Barisal captain Tamim Iqbal and team owners’ request.
But after defeating Rangpur Riders to reach the final, Barisal's owner, team management and captain once again requested him to reconsider his decision as Miller decided to play the final tomorrow.
Next BPL season set for December-January

It is understood that Miller is getting a handsome remuneration for playing the final. Which is much more than his previous two matches.
Miller is playing BPL after 11 years as he scored 17 and 22 to help his team to reach the final. Barisal will face Comilla Victorians in the final on Friday.
