The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will observe the National Mourning Day tomorrow (Tuesday, 15 August 2023) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
On this day in 1975, the greatest Bengali of all time, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members was brutally assassinated.
The day’s program includes recitation from the Holy Quran, special prayers and distribution of food to students of madrasahs.
