Pakistan former pacer Shoaib Akhtar was disappointed by the performance of the Indian team against New Zealand which they lost by a huge margin of 8 wickets.
Sharing a video on his YouTube channel, the former cricketer said, ‘Like I told you before the match and for a long time I was saying that India may be in trouble and if New Zealand wins the toss, then India’s Shahmat will come and the same thing happened.

“Today India team played very badly and their performance was very disappointing. I didn’t even think they were in the match at any point and they seemed to be under pressure that it didn’t seem like two teams were playing. I am deeply saddened by the kind of game that India played,” he added.
At the same time, former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi tweeted that now only a miracle can take India to the semi-finals.
“India still has an outside chance of qualifying for semi-finals but with how they have played two big matches of this event, it will be nothing but a miracle only a miracle to see them qualify,"
To reach the semi-finals, India will have to win all their remaining matches by a huge margin and at the same time hope that Afghanistan’s team is successful in defeating New Zealand.
