Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have handed Shakib al Hasan his first game of the second leg as he comes in for New Zealand's Tim Seifert against Sunrisers Hyderabad Sunday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson has won the toss and elected to bat first.

Earlier Saturday, KKR coach Brendon McCullum had hinted the return of all-rounder Shakib in this match.

Shakib is playing in his fourth game of the IPL 2021, and his first in the UAE leg. This season, Shakib has been inconsistent for KKR.

Before being replaced by Sunil Narine, the southpaw scored only 38 runs in three games and took two wickets for the franchise.
