Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is set to be granted No Objection Certificate to participate in the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bangladesh Cricket Board cricket operations committee chairman Akram Khan confirmed the development to Cricfrenzy on Wednesday.
“We have received an application from Mustafiz. We are positive but no final decision has been made yet. However, he has a chance to participate,” said Akram.

BCB had earlier decided not to give the NOC to Mustafizur as he was expected to be with the national team for the preparations of the upcoming World T20I.
Bangladesh were scheduled to play a three-match ODI series and as many T20 series against England in September. However, the series was postponed by the English Cricket Board, which opened the door for the players to participate in the franchise league.
The second leg of the IPL is set to take place from September 19 to October 15 in the United Arab Emirates.
