Bangladesh T20I captain Mahmudullah Riyad is seeking the opportunity to show the Tigers' ability in T20 format against mighty Australia, who are ready to lock horns with the hosts in a five-match T20I series, starting from tomorrow (August 3).
The experienced player believes Bangladesh have skillful batsmen and they have just to make smart choices in specifics situations.
"It's a great opportunity to show our ability and also boost our confidence. To beat one of the best teams, we have to play our A game. I think it goes with our T20 approach that we have to be very clear in our mind,”
“We have skillful batsman in the side, just we have to make the smart choices in particular conditions and also bowling options. We discussed these in the team meetings and if we can execute at the right time, we can expect a positive result,"

In a format like T20, where match scenarios vary dramatically in a short period of time, changes in the batting order could have an impact.
During the recent T20I series against Zimbabwe, Mahmudullah was promoted to number four, with Bangladesh needing 194 to win the third and final series-deciding T20I. He batted at number three in the first T20I as well.
More importantly, the recently concluded series provided Bangladesh with depth in the lower order thanks to the performances of youngsters like Afif Hossain, Shamim Hossain, and Nurul Hasan Sohan. Mahmudullah has faith that their contributions will continue, which will allow him to bat at upper position.
"I feel that Sohan, Afif and Shamim has the ability to finish [matches]. They are in a good rhythm and I hope that they will do justice to their talent and skill in this series" he added.
