Bangladesh-Australia to take nets tomorrow

On Sunday morning and afternoon, the hosts Bangladesh and visiting Australia respectively will take the nets to practice at the home of cricket Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.
Preparations for the day will start with the Tigers as Mahmudullah Riyad and Co. will practice at the indoor and main venue of SBNCS from 10 am to 1 pm.
In the second half of the day, from 4 pm to 7:30 pm, the Aussies will take their first practice session under floodlights. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed this in a press release on Saturday (July 31).

According to the BCB, Australia will practice in the first phase of the second day of preparation on August 2, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7:30 pm under the flood lights, Bangladesh will start their warm-up.
Both Bangladesh and Australia side were taken to the team hotel in the capital from the airport on Wednesday (July 28) after completing their individual bilateral series with Zimbabwe and West Indies. All the members have tested negative in the first of their Covid-19 test.
The series is the first ever bilateral T20I series between the two teams, Australia's fourth ever tour of Bangladesh for a bilateral series, and their first visit since 2017 after their proposed Test campaign here last year was called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The five T20Is will be held behind closed doors in Mirpur on August 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9 respectively.
