Australia fast-bowler Mitchell Starc is looking forward to the conclusion of the T20I series against Bangladesh as the cricketer is frustrated since he has been away from his family for a long time and is spending days in the bio-bubble.
Starc was named man of the series in Australia’s 2-1 one-day series win over the West Indies on the back of 11 wickets including three in Australia’s series-clinching victory in Barbados on Tuesday.
Starc snubbed the Indian Premier League (IPL) to avoid the tight bio-bubble schedule and to spend time at home with his cricketing superstar wife Alyssa Healy.

“That has been one of the reasons I have opted not to go to the IPL, to spend some time with my wife and my family, to refresh,” said Starc.
“It is chance to be away from the bubble and the hub. It’s not been an easy one over here, it has not been an escape from cricket or the hotel. Won’t be the case when we get to Bangladesh (for five more T20s),” he added.
Cricketers are unable to spend time with their families during the coronal period owing to bio-bubble and quarantine. It has become quite difficult to get along with Stark's family in this scenario, as his wife is also a professional cricketer.
“It makes it really tough when you throw in hubs and bubbles. It’s certainly a challenge for me and Alyssa when you have probably two hubs at the same time,” he added.
