Shai Hope returns as WI announce squad for Test series against South Africa

Bangladesh qualify for Women’s ODI World Cup as Windies fall short on NRR

The Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced a provisional 17-man squad for the upcoming Betway Test Series against South Africa.
The provisional squad is expected to be trimmed to a final 13 on Monday, ahead of the first Test from 10 to 14 June. It is the final series in the current cycle of the ICC World Test Championship.
Roston Chase, Shai Hope and Kieran Powell, who were all left out of the squad in the recent Test series against Sri Lanka have returned in this series.

The 17-man group includes 19-year-old uncapped fast bowler Jayden Seales. He has played a total of 10 matches but impressed in the recent Brathwaite XI vs Roston Chase XI tour match, taking four wickets.
The two-match Betway Test Series will be played at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground for the Sir Vivian Richards Trophy on June 10-14 and June 18-22 and five T20s will start onward till July 3.
