Gamini de Silva, chief pitch curator of Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur has tested Corona positive. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) doctor Debashish Chowdhury confirmed the matter to Cricfrenzy.
Bangladesh will visit Sri Lanka this month. The Tigers are scheduled to go to Zimbabwe from there. So the national team will not play in the home for a long time. During this time Gamini was supposed to go on holiday to his home Sri Lanka. As a result, he had to undergo Corona test before leaving Bangladesh.

"Gamini took the test to go to the country on holiday. But he could not go because of the positive result. Now he is in isolation at home, taking treatment there” Debashish told Cricfrenzy.
Gamini is currently in quarantine at his home due to positive corona. The Sri Lankan pitch curator is also receiving treatment from there.
