Bangladesh all rounder Shakib Al Hasan has opened his own charity foundation name, The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation.
He brought his foundations name and logo in-front of everyone through his official Facebook social media account on Saturday 28 March. Where he said that the organization will work to make the life of Bangladeshis safer and better.
'The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation. An Organization solely dedicated to make the lives of all Bangladeshis safer and better. Together we can overcome anything. Let's all work together as a team and lend our voices and hands to keep save Bangladesh. '
Many cricketers from around the world have made their own charity organization. This time Shakib made himself to the list. Throughout the year the activities of voluntary organizations made up of cricketers are visible.
Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath work every year with his own McGrath Foundation. The main purpose of his organization is to raise public awareness about breast cancer among the people. Also former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi work in various disasters with his 'Shahid Afridi Foundation'.
