Bangladeshi origin cricketers will play in the English County league very soon, revealed Shahidul Alam, the main executive of Capital Kids Cricket, an organization that works with London school cricket.
Expatriate Bangladeshis are doing great in England’s age based cricket, which is in the evidence of Robin Das’s inclusion in the Essex Second XI, through which he hogged the headline.
Bangladesh head coach Steve Rhodes had the first-hand experience with those Bangladeshi origin cricketers and he was immensely pleased with how they progress.

He is impressed with 15 years old leg spinner Tahmid Ahmed as he came to Bangladesh’s practice session.
Alongside him, 17 years old Ahnaf Ullah has also performed well in the nets. The left-handed fast bowler Ahnaf is really talented but can’t practice more than a day in a week.
Because it’s difficult for his father Ibad Ullah to maintain his practice cost alongside his study. For this, he decided to send Ahnaf back to Bangladesh. Shahidul believes Ahnaf will do great in the Bangladesh cricket too.
Ahnaf grows up idolising Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman.
Shahidul however pins high hope on his young apprentice Ahnaf.
“I hope he will be able to play competitive cricket in Bangladesh. I think he will be able to compete with the Under-18 cricketers of Bangladesh,” said Shahidul.
Shahidul, known as Ratan in Bangladesh’s cricket fraternity has been living in the UK since 2008. He presented Bangladesh cricket in 1990. After that, he decided to become a coach. He believes, Bangladeshi cricketers will dominate the English County cricket.
