Bangladesh’s spin bowling Coach Sunil Joshi said that it’s not sensible to fight over the fixtures and blame ICC when the world cricket apex body is widely criticized over the scheduling of the World Cup.
“We want to play as a team. We can’t fight over the fixtures that ICC has given us. We should accept what we have given and it’s better to play for the win," said Joshi.

Bangladesh’s match against Sri Lanka was abandoned due to rain. It was a match that Bangladesh expected to win. If Bangladesh got 2 points in that match, it could have helped Bangladesh to go into the semifinal.
Not only Bangladesh match, in this World Cup four matches have been abandoned due to rain, which is a record in the World Cup; in no other World Cup so many matches have been abandoned. And not even half of the matches are played.
Sunil Joshi thinks Bangladesh shouldn’t bother about the matches that have passed rather they should plan about the matches that are left. Bangladesh will take on West Indies on June 17. In a bid to move into the semifinal Bangladesh will have to win 4 matches among the five matches that are left. Bangladesh will have to face West Indies, Australia, Afghanistan, India and Pakistan in their remaining five matches.
