Team India have recently announced the T20I squad against England where three players have earned their maiden call-up as well. Mumbai Indians' star players - Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan alongside Rahul Tewatia are the three players who have earned the call-up.

Meanwhile, Yadav, who had to wait a long time for his chance despite being performed consistently, can't wait to join the team next month. The star player has played a crucial role for Mumbai Indians in their record-fifth IPL title win last year in the UAE.

He had scored 480 runs in IPL 2020 but was overlooked for the Australia tour. However, finally, he got the chance and this might be helpful for him considering the T20 World Cup, which will be played later this year.

"I have already started thinking about how I am going to spend time with all the greats over there. I will get to learn so much from our captain Virat Kohli and then there is Rohit Sharma, everyone, A-Z all the players. I am really looking forward to spend quality time, grasp as much as I can," Suryakumar Yadav said to Sports Today.

"There were a few instances during the IPL where I used to dream about winning games for India and I think the opportunity for me has come at the right time. It's on me how I take it and how I make full use of it. Not thinking about too much, I would say, I would go one step at a time, take one game at a time. I have a few plan. Obviously, I would love to go ahead and explore in this series," he further added.

Notably, India and England will play a five-match T20I series in Ahmedabad which will begin from March 12 after the final two Tests. All the matches will take place at the newly-made Sardar Patel Cricket Stadium in Motera as well.
