Comilla Victorians owner Nafisa Kamal said on Tuesday that world-leading leg spinner Rashid Khan is still loyal to her team despite not featuring for them in the last two editions of the competition.
Rashid, who featured for Victorians on two occasions, showed his class in the fifth edition of BPL after having only a game during his maiden appearance for the same franchise earlier by picking six wickets in seven matches.

However the Afghanistan leggie refused to take part in BPL as he was more interested in joining the Big Bash League in Australia.
Rashid Khan was first picked by us in any franchise league and he was paid USD 25000 in his first season in the tournament which we cannot think now to get his service as he ask several times higher now,’’ Nafisa told Cricfrenzy during a Facebook live on Tuesday.
‘’We only played Rashid in one game in the opening season but it was such big exposure for him and he is such a good guy that he never forget his royalty towards us,’’ she said.
‘’Unfortunately he has been contracted by BBL teams and cannot play for us in the last two year but he never missed any ball of our match in every game,’’ she said.
‘’He remembers that we gave him the first chance and he also talks about his mother words that suggest her mother stating till you die you will always play for Comilla,’’ she concluded.
