West Indies overtake Bangladesh in ICC ranking after beating Pakistan

Bangladesh have slipped to No.10 in the latest ICC ODI rankings, with West Indies moving up to No.9 after their five-wicket (DLS) win over Pakistan in the second ODI on Sunday.

The victory lifted the Caribbean side’s rating to 78, just ahead of the Tigers’ 77.

Bangladesh had earlier overtaken West Indies in July after beating Sri Lanka in the second ODI, but the Shai Hope-led side reclaimed the spot with their first ODI win over Pakistan since 2019.

The loss also saw Pakistan drop to No.5, allowing Sri Lanka to climb to No.4.
