Shakib al Hasan, Nasum Ahmed rewarded for their great bowling in the T20 series against Afghanistan as they both got good news from the ICC bowler rankings.
The ICC, the highest governing body of world cricket, released the weekly update of the rankings on Wednesday. The Bangladesh captain has advanced 8 steps in the bowling ranking and Nasum jumped 17 steps.
Shakib took 4 wickets with the ball in two T20I matches. 32 rating points added to his name. He has reached 16th with 616 rating points equal to Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Despite getting only one wicket, Nasum conceded 35 runs in 7 overs in controlled bowling against Afghans. He got 55 rating points as the left-arm spinner jumped from 50 to 33.
Taskin got 4 wickets and advanced 3 steps. The star pacer of Bangladesh moved from 35th to 32nd with a career best rating of 558.
Rashid Khan has retained the top position in the bowling rankings with a rating of 713.
Meanwhile, Litton Das advanced three steps in batting. He is on 18th with rating points of 588. Nazmul Hossain Shanto dropped six steps back to number 29.
