India A have won the maiden Women's Emerging Asia Cup after beating Bangladesh A by 31 runs in the final at Mission Road Ground in Hong Kong.
Bangladesh's batting collapsed as they were bowled out for 96 in 19.2 overs after limiting India to a respectable 127 for seven in the 20-over encounter.
Only three batters from Bangladesh reached double figures, with a team-high of unbeaten 22-ball 17-run knock coming from Nahida Akter at the lower-middle order.
Opener Shathi Rani had gotten off to a rapid start, scoring 13 off 11 deliveries but Bangladesh lost momentum as they lost two wickets inside just 3.2 overs.
Bangladesh never had a decent partnership from then on, losing wickets at regular intervals.
Earlier, after being asked to field first, Bangladesh bowlers managed to put on a decent showing as Nahida Akter and Sultana Khatun took two wickets each for the Tigresses.
