In order to organize One Day International (ODI) matches for the Pakistan side before the 2023 World Cup, which will take place in India later this year, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted four cricket boards, according to Cricket Pakistan.
Sources have revealed that the PCB has initiated contact with Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa boards, inviting them to visit Pakistan in August and participate in either bilateral or tri-nation series.
These series would provide the visiting teams a chance to acclimate to the conditions in the subcontinent before the mega event, according to the PCB's email to the aforementioned boards.
In September Bangladesh to host New Zealand for a three-match one-day international series as a preparation for the World Cup.
The three-match series is scheduled to take place following the Asia Cup 2023, which is in jeopardy however, due to political tension between Board of Control for Cricket in India and Pakistan Cricket Board.
