Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz stated that there is no room for taking Ireland lightly and informed that the Tigers will remain focused despite the lack of experience of opponent in the upcoming one-off Test match.
Miraz emphasised that all opponents are the same on the International stage there is no scope to underestimate any side.
"An international game is an international game. It's the same feeling when playing against the number 1 team and when playing against the number 10 team,” said Miraz in the press conference.
“As you wanted to know the outcome, we have to do the previous work. We never worry about what will or won't happen. We strive to work and remain focus with the present,” he said.
Miraz hinted that the Tigers will play an attacking brand of cricket and are keen to adjust quickly from the white-ball cricket to the red-ball format.
''If you have noticed there have been attacking brand of cricket in modern day where teams are trying to attack even in Test format in world cricket at the moment,”
“So obviously we will also try to do the same and definitely apart from the small technical changes, our mentality will remain the same. At the end of the day scoring runs matters whether it's the white ball or red ball cricket,'' he added.
