West Indies swashbuckling batter Andre Fletcher has been roped into the Fortune Barishal squad for the play-off stage of the Bangladesh Premiere League (BPL).

The franchise confirmed the signing of the right-handed batter on their social media platform on Saturday. 

Fletcher has played 262 matches having scored 6358 runs with three tons and thirty-one half-centuries with a high score of 103* runs.

Shakib-led Barishal will be powered by Sri Lankan batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa, South African's Dwaine Pretorius and Fletcher for the last phase of BPL 2023.

Barishal cemented their spot in the top four with seven wins despite five losses in the league stage. They will face Rangpur Riders in the eliminators.
