Comilla Victorians thrash Rangpur Riders by 70 runs in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, in Mirpur.

Mustafizur Rahman shined with three wickets with Tanvir Islam and Sunil Narine taking two wickets each as they restrict Rangpur to 107 in 17 overs. 

Rangpur didn't seem to be in the competition while chasing the huge target of 178 runs, set by Comilla. The openers Naim Sheikh (6) and Rony Talukdar (13) left the crease within the first powerplay including captain Nurul Hasan Sohan (7) and Tom Kohler Cadmore (1).

Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the highest of 29 runs off 22 deliveries aided by a boundary and two sixes. Azmatullah Omarzai and Rakibul Hasan played brief knocks of 15 and 16 runs respectively.

While batting first, Liton Das notched up 47 off 33 including three 4's and an equal number of maximums. While Khushdil Shah hit 40 in 20 balls which featured two boundaries and three sixes and Jaker Ali scored 34 runs.
