Pakistan Cricket Team’s former captain Javed Miandad asked India to go to hell on Monday, if they do not come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

Miandad stated during the exhibition match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at Bugti stadium, Quetta, that the Pakistan team is playing enough of cricket and don't need India to survive.

"India can go to hell if they don't want to come to Pakistan to play cricket. Pakistan do not need India to survive," said Miandad.

Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, has previously stated that India will not visit Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup. Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB Management Committee, responded by saying that Pakistan will not visit India for the ICC World Cup in 2023 because India always backs down when Pakistan is given such opportunities.

The 65-year-old makes fun of the Indian government as well, claiming that India is hesitant to play Pakistan.

"Why is India afraid to play against Pakistan? They know if they lose to Pakistan, the public will not spare them. Narendra Modi will disappear, their public won't leave him," said Miandad.

There was no confirmation regarding where the tournament would take place. While Pakistan has the hosting rights of the Asia Cup, the ACC President had earlier stated that India will not be traveling to Pakistan.
