Bangladesh Test-T20I captain Shakib al Hasan and first time picked wicket-keeper batter Litton Das could not play the entire Indian Premier League (IPL) because of the their international duty as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon confirmed today that no players will get no-objection certificate (NOC) during Bangladesh’s international series.
IPL 2023 has been scheduled between 1st April 2023 and 4th June and the players won’t be able to participate entirely because that time Bangladesh will host (1 Test, 3 ODI, 3 T20s) and also tour (3 ODI, 4 T20) Ireland.
However, BCB had already confirmed the availability of the players to The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) before the mini auction, which was held in Kochi on 23rd December.

“The more cricketers go to IPL the happier we are. But no one will get chance when there is a international game. If there is a national team game, none of them can play (in IPL). We have already informed the IPL authorities. They have taken the cricketer knowingly. Otherwise more cricketers were likely to feature in IPL,” said BCB boss after attending a program in the capital on Monday.
According to that mail BCB confirmed, Bangladesh players, selected for the Ireland series, will come for the IPL for a limited time. "Players selected for Ireland series will be available from 8 April to 1 May," the mail says.
Despite that Kolkata Knight Riders picked Litton for the first time and brought back Shakib at their base prices of INR 50 Lakh and 1.5 crores, respectively.
Apart from those stars, Bangladesh premier bowler Mustafizur Rahman has already retained by his franchise Delhi Capital in november.
