New Zealand stalwart Tim Southee achieved a rare feat to his name as he completed 200 wickets in the 50-over format for the Kiwis.

Southee dismissed Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan in Friday’s game at Eden Park, Auckland, to became the first player in international cricket to record 300 or more test wickets, 200 or more ODI scalps and 100 or more Twenty 20 wickets.

Southee also became the fifth New Zealand men’s bowler to capture 200 wickets in ODIs, finishing the innings with 202 after grabbing two more wickets in the last over.

Only four bowlers after Southee have taken 200 wickets in ODI cricket so far. These are Daniel Vettori (297), Kyle Mills (240), Chris Harris (203), and Chris Cairns (200).
