Amazon Warriors emerged as the winners chasing the highest team total in this year's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) against the Saint Lucia Kings.
Shai Hope smashed an unbeaten fifty and Shakib al Hasan grabbed a couple of wickets to script their consecutive victory in CPL.
Chasing 195, Rahmunullah Gurbaz and Chandrapaul Hemraj got the Amazon Warriors to a fantastic start reaching 71 runs at the end of the power-play and that enabled the Warriors to always be in the hunt for victory.
Then Hope struck 59 0ff 30 balls, featuring two fours and five sixes and skipper Shimron Hetmyer played a cautious innings of 36 off 28 with two 4's and a six to secure the victory for Guyana.
Earlier, Kings won the toss and opted to bat first, as their captain Faf Du Plessis hit magnificent century to lead the way. His 103 came off 59 balls to help his side set the highest team total in the Hero CPL this year.
Shakib picked up the wickets of Adam Hose (1) and David Wiese (12) in expense of 33 runs from four overs.
