The BCB has raised the salary of the contracted female cricketers by "around 33%" for the calendar year 2022.
The increase was due to their good performance on the recent tour of Zimbabwe and their qualification for the 2022 ODI World Cup, according to BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon.

“Normally we do raise 10-15 percent, so as far as I know this time it is being increased to 33 percent. So, we are emphasizing on 'A' category, 'B' category according to the remuneration of the girls who play well” said Papon during the press conference.
The women players' salary structure will be divided into two or three categories, according to their experience, performances and quality of each player.
In the last few years, the improvement of the Bangladesh women's team is eye-catching. In 2018, Bangladesh won the Asian title for the first time in women's cricket.
