Bangladesh young batter Towhid Hridoy believes he has the ability to win a World Cup for Bangladesh if he gets a chance in the national team.

BCB has started a preliminary camp with seven cricketers for the upcoming Pakistan series. It is expected that 3-4 individuals will get a chance in the team from this camp.

“The U-19 World Cup will always give us confidence as long as we play cricket. We have worked out how to win the World Cup. If we get a chance we will win the World Cup,” he said.

“I do not know whether I will get a chance or not. My job is to practice. I want to take this opportunity. I am trying to make good use of the environment and facilities provided by BCB,”

The seven players are currently practicing range hitting in assistance with the newly appointed Bangladesh team director Sujon.

“The selectors know why the 7 cricketers have been called up. Our main task is to be more attentive. We have practiced range hitting with Sujon sir and other coaches. Practicing, let's see,” he added.
