Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali said that he wants to establish himself as a good all-rounder in all three formats for the Pakistan cricket team.
He also stated the presence of former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq with the team will help him a lot.
“I want to be a good all-rounder in all the three formats. The presence of a former great like Abdul Razzaq, who has joined us recently, has already been a big help to me,” Hasan said during a virtual conference on Wednesday.
“He is teaching me how to do power-hitting while keeping a balance at the crease. He has been a quality all-rounder for Pakistan and hopefully, his presence with the team will make a difference,” he said.
Talking about the Pakistan team’s T20 World Cup match against arch-rivals India, the fast bowler said that he always wants to win the match against India.
“When we won the Champions Trophy (in 2017), it was a very good time for us and we will try to beat them again in the T20 World Cup. We will give our best. Playing against India is always a pressure game because of the expectations of fans from both countries,” he said.
“Even those people, who don’t normally watch cricket, follow Pakistan vs India matches, so the pressure on the players is high but we will give our best. I can only say that believe in this team as these players keep the ability to win matches for Pakistan any day, so we’ll be trying to win that match by all means,” he added.
