The Bangladesh Test team set to leave the country on Tuesday morning to play a full series against Zimbabwe. Team Bangladesh will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Zimbabwe with Qatar Airlines at 4:25 am.

Following a day of the quarantine, the tourists will begin their preparations with practice sessions at Harare Sports Club, followed by a two-day practice game before the lone Test match on July 7.

The players of the ODI and T20 squad will depart Dhaka next month for a three-match series in the ICC Cricket World Super League in the African country.

However, Shakib Al Hasan is not going with the team today as Shakib has returned to his family in the United States after playing the first round of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL). From there, Bangladesh's world-class all-rounder is scheduled to join the team directly in Zimbabwe.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan has been included in the squads for all three formats. Opening batsman Soumya Sarkar was dropped from the ODI squad, and selected for the T20I squad only.

Middle-order batsman Mohammad Mithun has been considered for the shorter formats as he was axed from the Test team.

20-year old Shamim Hossain has earned his maiden call-up to the T20 squad. The youngster was in good form, scored 243 runs in 13 innings at an average of over 30 in recently concluded DPL. He has a remarkable strike rate of just under 146.38.

Moreover, Mushfiqur Rahim has taken a leave and will not feature in the T20 series. But he will feature in Tests and ODIs.
