New Zealand are likely to tour Pakistan for a limited-overs series ahead of the T20 World Cup. The last time the Blackcaps visited Pakistan was in 2003, when they were humiliated in a five-match One-Day International series.
The NZC and the PCB are in talks regarding the bilateral series, David White, chief executive of the board confirmed. “Our intention is to tour Pakistan, and we’re working through that with [the PCB], and Government agencies. All going well, ensuring that we satisfy all the security arrangements which I’m confident we will do, we will be touring Pakistan,” White was quoted as saying in stuff.co.nz.

The New Zealand cricket team has a busy schedule ahead of them, as they are set to tour India, following the conclusion of the T20 World Cup, before hosting Bangladesh and South Africa for the Test series.
Some players are also set to take part in the second leg of IPL, said White, “There’s a lot of moving parts right now, but ideally we would allow our guys to play in the IPL,”
New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, James Neesham, and Lockie Ferguson will feature in the second phase of the IPL 2021 in the UAE before the T20 World Cup, confirmed White.
