DPDLT20: Prime Doleshwar beat Rupganj, Shinepukur beat Khelaghar to register third win

Prime Doleshwar Sporting club beat Legends of Rupganj in the low-scoring match of the ninth round in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League T20 at BKSP-4, Savar. While, Shinepukur won against Khelghar Samaj Kallyan Samity by 15 runs (D/L Method) in their encounter at Dhaka.

Prime Doleshwar set the target of 119 runs for the opponent, in response Rupganj manage to score 104 losing eight wickets in 20 overs as a result were defeated by 14 runs.

Rupganj were in trouble since the beginning of the innings as the batsmen were struggling to make runs. Al-Amin, the highest scorer, scored 30 off 33 balls, apart from him Azmir Ahmed (23) and Mohammad Shahid (21) played short innings.

Kamrul Islam took three wickets in four overs, spending 15 runs, while Shafiqul Islam took a couple of wicket and Sarifullah, Enamul Haque and Farhad Reza picked up one wicket each.

Earlier, Prime Doleswar have scored 118 losing all wickets, the openers could not led to a good start for the side. Then, Fazle Mahmud and Marhall Ayub made 41 run partnership for the fourth wicket. Marshall scored 13 runs and Fazle faced 38 balls to score 29 runs.

Then Shamim Hossain scored 17 runs and Saif Hassan made 16. Shahid took three wickets, Nabil Samad got a couple of wicket and Muktar Ali, Hossain Ali and Sunzamul Islam got one wicket each.

Shinepukur vs Khelaghar

Losing the toss Shinepukur had to bat first, Sajjadul Haque (48) and Towhid Hridoy (46) led the team to good score as they set the target of 155 runs. Despite Khaled Ahmed bagged three wickets.

In reply to that Khelaghar could manage 110 runs losing 7 wickets in 16 overs. Sadikur Rahaman played a knock of 31 runs in 23 balls and Jahurul Islam scored 27 runs. For Shinepukur Tanvir Islam, Mohor Sheikh took two wickets each.
